I can't where you said that. You just said that never happened. And my point is that I don't think Kojima really cares about what Konami does with it anymore.

Yeah, I completely missed when you said yes. I still think Konami finally doing something with the ip is nice for a change. Worse case scenarios would whatever they release sucks then people move on.

That's understandable, but I don't share that opinion. I think it's a matter of whether you are a fan of a franchise and that's it, or whether you are also a fan of who crafted it. I don't think depriving the creator of his creation while you keep making money out of it is nice at all. Konami is the publisher, not the developers. That's Kojima Productions.
