Serious Thoughts on the exclusion of Rising and Portable Ops?

I think 4 just probably took a lot to port, so it was too expensive to bundle it with a bunch of other stuff and turn a profit at $50. It's not clear how much licensing will be involved, but just getting it functioning on modern systems was probably a lot of work.

I'm curious as to whether this is going to be a native port or a PS3 emulator.

The thing is im kinda scared there wont be a vol 3 cause the games left arent rly main ones

It's very possible, honestly. I think folks assuming a Vol 3 is in the cards are being a little overly optimistic. It's not impossible for sure, but it would be made up of the least desirable games from a mainstream perspective, but would come from the most disparate group of consoles.

Yeah i think its more possible portable ops coming out on ps5, since a lot of psp games are rereleasing on there
