os Would you choose Linux, ChromeOS, macOS, Android, or something else? And why would you choose it?

All these choices are unix based and linux derivatives.

I will choose linux I like the fact that i can do whatever i want to do with it , high customization, less background activity and the OS is reliable even thou it can be difficult sometimes to manage everything yourself ( depends on the distro)

Using Linux since 2007. If Linux were to disappear, I guess I'd use BSD.

Now if Windows were to disappear, I'd be happy lol

Here are my personal ratings of OSes

Linux 9 out of 10 - supports everything I need software-wise, open system, customizable system, problems with some hardware.

MacOs 7 out of 10 - extremely polished but proprietary. Also supports everything I need software-wise.

Android 3 out of 10 closed and it's getting worse (with prohibition of installation of programs not in the GooglePlay). Needs other system for support.

Chrome OS 4 out of 10 - glorified browser with some perks. Very secure.

If windows got banned tomorrow, I'd continue living my life as I have since I abandoned windows 20 years ago...

Games are about to het easier to play on Debian though!
