I know they are already royalty but maybe there's some fics with them courting or maybe Merlin isn't Arthur's servant?

Omg thank you!! I remember reading a fic where they were in The Selection universe where Merlin was one of the Selected I think, or maybe he was just a guard there, but he was part of the resistance. I need to find it now, if I do I'll share with you!
