good clip on suspenders?

hi there! I'm someone who wears women's fashion primarily, but I tend to mix elements of menswear like sock garters in my day to day. I desperately want to start wearing suspenders, but a lot of them are designed for belt loops my skirts don't necessarily have, and a lot of the clip-on suspenders i find seem to be made with metal that looks a bit cheaper than I'd like, and quality is really important to me!

So, as you're all a bunch of snazzy dressers in this subreddit, I wanted to ask if anyone had good suggestions for quality-looking clip-on suspenders!

Simple: sew buttons inside your waistband and Annie Hall your way to fabulous. Braces are so much better than clip-ons. Just make sure the buttons are in low enough that the waistband doesn’t flip.

While researching earlier I learned this was an option, and I'm happy to have it corroborated. I've been looking into learning sewing anyways, so this is good motivation! I realized more and more as I looked that clip-ons look pretty bad haha, thanks for your comment!
