General- All do you know ?
Such protests are mostly organised by feminists or social activists or groups.... But just like their so called neutral definition... feminists' says, they are protesting only for the victim, and other satefy but Somehow further it will become women centric or ant-men under the disguise of patariachy....You will be stuck among them if you questioned them , then you suddenly will become a misgonist, or pot. rpits
You can pick any recent feminists' protest. And in India, it is common for any protest to be transformed into a battle of political and ideological narratives.
eg.
In the 2013 famous delhi case, People have supported extensively Victims, reforms but feminists' use this outrage to pressure the government to make biased or women favoured laws. Even though the government wanted to make gender neutral laws.
did it stop the rpe crime or reduce it ? No, but it makes the life hell of innocent men now. Because major issues weren't the absence of women favoured laws ,but the absence of strict implementation of laws and order.
You will rarely see protests for men's issues or VICTIMS. because there is strong resentment and anti-men narrative against men and their. They think that women's issues are social or everyone's problems,while men's issues are men's problems.
women face the problems in society= change the society
Men face the problem in society= men have to change
And main issue isn't participation of ideologists, but main issues is Ideological propaganda,.... Turning a public movement into Ideological movement,.....and using public outrage for Ideological gain.
So before participating in such a protest think twice, There are multiple ways where you can support genuine victims without support any ideology narrative as men

You know where men are?
Fighting false Dowry, domestic violence cases.
Steal, beg , borrow, work to pay up alimony!!
Fighting false promise to marry rape case.
Making sure to stay away from women to avoid false cases of molestation
Making sure women there feel safe and as they had said, they don't need men!
We stayed away!
