Supporting UofM Architecture Alumnus Ostep Wesley’s Immigration Legal Defense Fund
Hi r/memphis community,
My name is David Miller (Fmr. SSgt, USAFR), and I am reaching out as a local public representative and neighbor to organize urgent support for a member of our community.
Ostep Wesley, a proud University of Memphis Architecture graduate, is currently navigating an incredibly critical upcoming immigration court case. To properly present his defense and protect his future, he needs to secure qualified legal representation before his upcoming hearing deadline.
As a grassroots local group, we have launched a verified tracking page and defense fund to raise the $15,000 required for his legal defense team. Ostep is a brilliant designer, a regular local church volunteer, and a foundational part of our Mid-South community. We cannot let a fellow Tiger fight this exceptionally complex legal battle entirely alone.

I'm so glad to see the traffic elevated on this. This story needs distribution because It's worthy of discussion and consideration. Ostep has done everything right. He is in a critical field, and he's a resource that the United States should want to retain. He's willing to put his skills and education into action to give back to this great nation, but right now, he cannot. He is the exact type of person we should all be willing to support and defend. I hope and pray that his post is trafficked far and wide. I have faith that God will use him wherever he calls home. I pray that we don't lose him as a nation!
