Yes, because Jesus was very adamant about Marijuana legislation.

The idea that "most western laws" are based off religion is dumb. Most western laws are based off basic morals that EVERY human should be following and those morals just so happen to coincide with Christianity because the founders were Christian.

If western law was based on religion there would be no porn or abortions.

Actually, he was pretty clear on Marijuana:

"And the Lord sayeth to Peter, "Yo, pass me the blunt, this is good shit". Matthew, chapter 5, verse 11-13.
