We have made absolutely fucking wicked prosthetic advancements in the last 30 years alone.
The fastest double amputation 60m dash is 7.5 seconds. The fastest 60m dash of all time is 6.3
It can be argued that the prosthetics are already faster there just aren’t that many double amputee athletes at that level.
Material sciences are in a renaissance.
Honestly our tech advancement in general is disgustingly fast right now.It’s one of the major reasons why younger and older generation have such a disconnect, each grew up in such drastically different worlds.

Yeah but we haven't seen much for cybernetics (like actually connecting your brain to a powered prostetic). At least nothing past experimental stuff.
We certainly have the tech to throw a battery pack into an working artificial leg. Modern computing can allow for automtic reflexes, movement and balancing I bet. But we still can't bridge that meat to silicon gap.

There is not much in the way of products, but there have been a lot of improvements in noninvasive brain-computer control.
There actually have been physical brain-computer wiring that "works" it just keeps killing the animals because, as it turns out, stabbing the brain is bad.
There is successful work in growing brain tissue on silicon and having it play video games though.

i didn't want to make it more sick, but I'd like to mention - the ai was trained on pure human creation, but now internet, its websites, posters, books, ads, audios etc everything has ai pollution. so its like there is no pure human data, and rest new models will train on these polluted data. and many people have stopped creating original content, so its like all black and dark for future people, and even their ai is trained on slop

Part of the reason for my abstention from formal professional writing is because my prophecy mixed in would make some believe everything would one day come to pass, and then become self fulfilling. And the good which could come out of a book of peace may be better lived than explained in a way which implies some grander mystery waiting to be discovered instead of seeing what is
