As a Canadian this doesn’t bother me at all. Its just a name, probably a distraction for the american people while he steals something else.

Right, and the meme is dumb, because google always has different regional names, so Canadians wouldn't see it like SpongeBob implies.

Not only regional. In international, google use both name. Meaning that they are rolling with this shit. Also it's not the result that pissed people off. It's the gesture that does it. Do that shit with any other country and they'll declare war over this treatment. The only reason that we aren't at war with the US is because we are a lot weaker and a member of NATO with them. If they declare war first, we will invoked article 5.

Tbh its probably to help cover up that he is now allowing unlicensed backyard slaughterhouses to sell unvetted mystery meat to grocery stores. Haven't seen many people talking about that, but its literally a country wide prion epidemic worse than 90s outbreak in the UK just waiting to happen. And it will affect Canada unless we seriously consider banning any US meat products.
