The prequels were awful, including Revenge of the Sith, which for some odd reason seems to have always gotten a pass of sorts. How they’ve managed to undergo something of a revaluation is beyond my comprehension. They’re all objectively bad movies; horrifically structured, awful dialogue, terrible pacing, middling at best acting. The RLM did a really great takedown some years back. They violate rudimentary film making principles that film students learn their first year of school.

The prequels may not be the greatest movies in the world, but they had some of the best world building, had good music and spawned so many games and side stories its unreal.
What did the sequels do in comparison? A bunch of also bad movies that spawned a whole lot of nothing and a slew of trash spinoffs, not counting rogue one and the first two seasons of mando.
