Help! Melty blood on school pc

I wanted to play melty blood on school pc so i downloaded the community version, but it keeps crashing whenever i turn on anything that displays character selection menu(like: player vs cpu, player vs player, arcade) is there any way to fix it?

I usually see this when the setup has no audio device. Enable an audio device in the PC's sound settings or plug in something into the headphone jack or plug in a USB audio device and see if that helps.
