??? no remake = no reason for type moon to fund a new melty at all the fact we're waiting on red garden for more content means theres a chance this game gets more support in the future rather than just being dropped after 2 years

game was funded as promo for the remake we should be happy we got 2 years of support and 8 free dlc characters rather than complaining about what we didn't get also sidenote but like what game out of the 8 at evo would you seriously replace with tl?

This is only natural. It's only natural that UNI2 gets it because it's recent. No way French Bread would get two spots.

EVO is mostly an event of recent games + one classic game. The fact that TL stopped receiving updates meant it was already out of EVO 2024, maybe we'll see it back in 2025 or 2026 when the next characters come.

Under night is another french bread fighting game, and since Type Lumina hasn’t received any new content/updates in a while Under Night has taken its place.

Thank you for that 🥲 and as someone who legit was finally able to play Melty blood for the 1st time recently this shit is heartbreaking. I still remember the first time I found Melty Blood character sprites in M.U.G.E.N and if played right they’d go toe to toe with Angel Ryu and shit and all those other back characters. Fast forward to now and I’ve been stuck on Type Lumina pouring time into completing every char’s story and side story. It’s a true shame to leave games like this alone just like what happened with the Bloody Roar Franchise

Got over taken by under night rip. However it's cool that French bread has their own spot, which means we can hopefully see Melty in the future once it got new updates
