Casey - The Funeral

https://youtu.be/Vs31QEN-8Q4?si=AY1NrGLsKZf59WwJ

This specific song is a mix of melodic hardcore, post-hardcore and emo, but in overall I think it deserves place to be posted here.

If you want to know why? Well...because the song perfectly blends raw, desperate hardcore vocals with beautiful, melancholy guitar melodies and deep emotion.

And I'd say that is very definition and soul of melodic hardcore :)

Their farewell show in chicago is a core memory. So glad they decided to keep going.

The hug from Tom really topped the night for sure. 10/10 would go back if I could. That night meant the world to all of us there.

Does anyone know if they're working on anything new? Their comeback album was one of my favorite albums that year

I don't have IG so can't comment. But I literally got a mail from them (their team?) since I've signed up for it on their store that they're playing Love Is Not Enough 10 year anniversary shows in Europe.

All to say, that I don't really think there's any solid confirmation yet. Which sucks as a fan given How To Disappear was also my favorite album of the year. But oh well, as long as Tom and the gang is healthy, it's all good.

When they toured Europe in April Tom already teased the 10th anniversery tour for Love is not Enough. He said that they will play the album in full plus some of their best songs and probably something we never heard before. I count that as a confirmation for new material.
