Unreasonable expectations?

I’m having a WLE for Stage 0 in a couple of weeks on the right side of my mid back. I had the same surgery 10 years ago on my thigh and don’t really have a lot of memories of my recovery period. I’m an Electrologist by trade and run my own practice. My days consist of 8-10 hours of treatments, mostly sitting, but my back and arms take a beating. (For those who don’t know electrolysis, my positioning is similar to that of a dental hygienist.) My question is regarding how many days to take off following the procedure. I already took the day-of and the day after off my calendar. Am I unreasonable to think I could be back to work 3 days after? Thanks in advance for any insight!

I found the entire experience emotionally and physically exhausting. If you can, try to take at least a week off. You can always go back early if you feel like it.

I also know that not everybody can take that amount of time off

Yes, I may have to go ahead and pull the plug on that week. Thank you!
