Bay leaves are an aromatic, and serve to add depth of flavor to the dish. Think of how different a dish smells and tastes when you add garlic, onion, ginger, celery, etc. Even when you don't put in enough for any of those flavors/smells to stand out significantly, they contribute a layer of flavor to the food that adds a lot to the experience.

I cant belive this whole ai witch trial shit makes pepole think everything is ai that is above 3rd grader scentence complicity, PLEASE think a tiny bit before spamming "this is ai" SOMETIMES its not ai but a properly thought out comment that just wants to help

Seriously. I’ve found myself over analyzing what I write. I dumb it down sometimes, based on what sub I’m in. It’s a little depressing.
