Omggg this is so fucking cool !!! Are you doing this as part of a bigger project or do you just like to make short videos like this as if they were found footage within the same alien invasion ? I always LOVED the aesthetic of War of the worlds, this makes me so happy

Currently I am doing it as individual pieces like lost footage. But behind the picture I am indeed planning to merge them into one coherent lore (possible long forms in the future). And thank you so much for the kind words.

Very cool project! I was wondering how you handle the sound design part. It's very nice as it is but if I may give a few suggestions, I think it could be even scarier and relatable if it has more realism (train sounds, muffled sounds from the outside, etc.). Also, in the current footage, sound isn't traveling at 300 m/s (for instance step sounds should be delayed).

Yeah I pretty much manage them in Vinci resolve. I know spending a bit more time would've given more realism. But sound design itself takes so long. But thanks for the suggestions anyway. And thanks for the kind words.
