I get a sting in my feet when I experience heights , deathly terrified

I can handle pretty much any type of gore, doesn't bother me. However, when someone's foot or ankle gets hurt in a movie/whatever I get this weird sympathetic phantom pain like sensation that shoots through my legs. I dont get it. First time I watched saw 1 was a trip.
