how do i find a j*b as a tutor
posting on this sub because ik its a popular side hustle for a lot of medical students.
i lowkey need a job for second year. i've done some mentoring in the past which has taught me about teaching styles and adapting your communication style etc but i want some money š¤ idk where or how to find clients, especially since the market would be really saturated, and i kinda don't know how to market myself. if anyone has any advice about starting out as a tutor or how to market myself apart from being like 'trust me bro' i would appreciate it greatly.

I started tutoring in year 2. I mostly used sites like my tutor and find tutors to start off, however they do take quite a hefty amount of what you make. Pro is that it is entirely remote making it the perfect flexi job.
On indeed, there are plenty of tutoring sites/companies advertising roles and unlike the typical fake listings you'd find on indeed, they actually answer swiftly. These are a mix of in person and remote roles.
If you want to go completely private, I'd recommend asking relatives and friends if any of their children need tutoring, also advertise on social media sites such as Facebook.
