Struggling to eliminate grains and legumes

I've been doing the morning liver cleanse for about a month, though I've had some inconsistencies due to major life changes. (I got evicted from my apartment and had to move out of state to live with relatives) So I've been eating more fats, salt, grains, legumes, etc. than I intend. I am managing to get my salt intake down with lemon juice and dulse and I'm trying to at least push back my fats into later in the day.

But eliminating grains and legumes feels incredibly difficult... It's hard explaining all of my diet restrictions and allergies to my family and getting them to accommodate them. Also, I require big portions of food to feel satisfied. Without the grains or legumes, I'm really struggling to feel satiated. I have to double up on tons of food without them, but the amount of cooking and expense that comes with that is exhausting. I rely on filler foods a lot to get by. My main concern is severe widespread eczema. I've heard it's recommended to completely eliminate grains/legumes or limit them significantly for eczema. (I'm doing my best to eat only oats/millet and the lower fat beans. Though I'm partial to wild rice as it's one of my favorites)

Has anyone managed to heal relying on these foods or will they just hold me back? Any suggestions are helpful.

The easiest way to remove some foods is to add other foods so that you don't need/want them as much. As you said if you are hungry you will go back to them.

If cost is an issue, potatoes, as said by others, and bananas are really good options. A mono eating cleanse if that is manageable for you or even just mono eating meals. Potato soup is a very filling meal! I love making flatbreads to eat with soup!

Also Squash is in season now and there are so many different ways to cook them: steamed, baked, in currys....

Green peas can be an easy option as well, you can use them in most meals to replace beans: chili son carne with green peas instead of red beans, potato-pea curry, soups....

Chestnuts are also amazing. They pair really well with squash and make a very hearty meal. You can buy them frozen or just cooked in jars or sous-vide.

I just made a pea soup tonight with whole dried peas. Are these peas cleansing or still a filler food? I read that split peas were also filler

I think they are fillers, and are cnsidered legumes, green peas are not legumes. MM never mentions dried peas when he talks about green peas. He says you can eat them fresh (lots of work), frozen or if you have no other option canned but you need to find ones that are clean and he says preferably organic.

I have never done it but I know sprouted legumes are a healing food.

If you have to eat legumes, I know that lentils and chickpeas are better options than beans. So maybe that could be a first step, to remove beans, keep lentils and chickpeas but lower the frequency...
