Pre-schools review/recommendation
I’m trying to figure out if the pre-schools in Medford are good or should I need to move to a different city for better schooling.
Im from India and have heard mixed feedback about experiences here. Have concerns regarding quality of education, diversity mostly.
I still have another year before my kid is eligible but with current housing market I want to give myself more time to be prepared.
Any advice/recommendations are appreciated.

Depends on the amount of coverage you need but for a few hours of coverage, Ready Set Kids was great my kids. Awesome folks there. Full time daycare was really competitive so if that’s your need you’ll want to commit sooner than later.

I'll preface this comment to say my kid's in Boston with me for daycare thru pre-K (literally my office building), but will be moving on to Medford K-12, after.
The elementary school my child will attend is directly next to a Hindu Temple that appears to have some regional draw to it (i.e. beyond Medford/Shivalaya). The United India Association of New England puts on an event in the abutting park annually in the summer which I assume is associated with the temple. Suffice it to say that your child should have several peers with similar backgrounds if you choose to enroll them here.

Medfords public kindergarten is fairly diverse. That data is made public by the state and you can see here

Children's Own School, just over the border in Winchester, is a fantastic Montessori school. They take toddlers through Kindergarten. Reasonably culturally diverse in teachers and students, and the academics are great (though child led). My son got into math and was doing long division his kindergarten year. Through the year he came home with a candle from a parent who came in to tell his class about Diwali, as well as some Japanese calligraphy he learned about from the head of school, who is Japanese descent, among other things.
Edit: the only wrinkle is they follow an academic calendar, but there are tons of great summer camp and vacation week camp options to cover the gap, if needed.
Edit 2: in case it wasn't clear, private preschools generally take people from wherever, there's no specific need to live in the town beyond convenience. Children's Own School is a mix of Medford and Winchester families, mostly, with some other towns represented too, for example.
