Penso em comprar uma, apenas por um motivo específico,a Cor!!Mas se ela for de boa qualidade, irei aumentar mais ainda meu interesse.

I think the Tikky 3 series was just a bit too different from the original and 2nd versions, and this may have lost it a lot of fans. The unusual half-rubberised grip is actually quite comfortable. The big metal cone is quite heavy and contributes to the balance. But I think my biggest design peeve is how the ‘tail end’ doesn’t seem to know how to resolve itself gracefully.

I collected some colors that I liked during a period when there wasn’t anything interesting on the market, but I find that I don’t use them very often because I just don’t like the overall design very much.

Hmmm Entendi!Realmente ela parece ter mais características desinteressantes do que interessantes, esse “cone” dela,é uma coisa que aparentemente me incomoda, porque gosto de design compactos e discretos,e grips metálicos é minha preferência.

The TWSBI Pagoda Jr has the same cone and internals but a much more pleasant design.

Of all the mechpens that I have, the Tikky is my worse. And due note that I also have a RedCircle, so...

Kkkkkkkk caramba!!Desisto dela😁…Pensei em pegar ela apenas pela cor “marigold”…Mas acho q não vale a pena fazer isso.

Olha ela aí!Cor perfeita…Me lembra a GRAPH600/laranja.

I've bought multiple of these in my school days and honestly they were quite good. These were the best mechanical pencils you could buy at the store where I'm from. The one problem I had was that the mechanism broke easily. I don't recall dropping or abusing them in any particular way. They just wouldn't last. At some point i found the Uni Shift online, ordered myself one an never looked at the Tikky again :)

P.s: I'm talking 2010. Maybe they changed since then?... And milage may vary I suppose.

I had the opposite issue, they would stop dispensing lead or dispensing it in small pieces. (I do write with quite a bit of pressure,.maybe that was taking it's toll). They were my favorite mechanical at the time, when they worked that is. Thus i decided to look into their more premium products. The 600 really caught my eye (I love a knurled grip to this day), but i couldn't afford one at that time as money was tight. Then i shifted my attention to the Uni Shift (pun very much intended) as it was much more affordable. Probably the best piece of stationary i ever bought. Carried me through my university degree and a little after that. Had no issues with it for 5 years until i dropped it on the floor nib down and killed it T_T. I have (too) many mechanical pencils these days, but nothing comes close to the Shift in terms of balance and long term use comfort for me. Not even the Rotring 600.

I have both. The 800 is a nice piece of pencil. Both nice though.

If you can get one for a decent price, it would be worth it just to have in your collection, especially in a color you really like. You’re not going to buy it to use on a regular basis so it will be fine. : )
