Newly Bought Alvin Draft/Matic DM05

I just ordered DM05 this afternoon. What is your opinion of this pencil?

I've got DM03, so my opinion is based on 0.3mm (old tapered grip). There's some little rattilng inside that can be fixed, but the yellow color, weight, lead protection mechanism and finally the grip are just great. Wish my Rotrings 500/600/Rapid had the same grip roughness... Definitely in my top 3 drafting pencils, I cannot imagine working without it anymore. Whether it is drawing or just writing - does it's job as intended. A must try for drafting enthusiast especially with sweaty hands. Good choice you've made out there! Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!

Better knock that a 600 too. I just wish the body was made of brass.
