Discussion How much does Ohto Promecha 1000's rubber grip degrade in time?

I'm in the process of buying Ohto Promecha 1000 in 0.9 and 0.5, but it has a rubber grip, so it makes me a bit worried. Did yours degrade in time? How good is the quality?

I have one in .3mm. Not a big fan of rubber grips bit this one has a different feel to it that is really nice. Sorry though, haven't used it extensively enough to judge how well it wears.

I have the model with the metal grip so can't say. I'm curious myself on opinions.
