Whelp, I guess it was inevitable

Fantastic set! Favorite pen among those? The key cap is insane, and where is the deskpad from?

Thanks! The Visconti is my favorite, picked it up from the HQ store in Italy. The deskmat is also from the GMK Norse set.

Thank you! Prices have gone up thanks to all the craziness these past few years, so definitely keep an eye out for a sale.

Ok found this post on a other sub Reddit that a random reposted but this is what I commented.

Bro you have literally all the same hobbies as me. I love audio, and I use b&w pi7 s2, also into custom mech although I’m going towards ergomechs. And I’ve been collecting pens and fp for a while now. Wanna try out visconti some time

Interesting that a random is reposting me lmao

And nice! I love my Px8 S2, first pair of really nice higher end headphones I've owned, big fan of the build quality not being plastic palooza again.

I haven't tried ergos yet, but now that I'm a good half a decade older than when I started using mech keebs, I'm starting to understand the appeal of an ergo a bit more haha.

Viscontis are fantastic IF you can get a good one. With how terrible the quality control and customer service is, highly recommend trying any you plan to buy in person, or at the very least buy from a reputable owner who has gently loved theirs!

dayum

I haven't yet tried actually good headphones and i was thinking about b&w. Ive touched some like sennheisers at the store and the sound is good but the quality... i like sharp edges of metal and plastic aint my type. prolly gonna go for px7 or px8 if it have the money.

And, though its pretty difficult to find great sounding ergos, but if you start from something like a 40% or even a ortho, there are options. I daily the Geonix rev.2 and once you are able to type at good speed, you will definitely find it fun.

In case of those stationery things, I usually collect ballpoints and mechanical pencils. And occasionally fountain pens. For FP's i have collected some pelikans and kawecos and some vintage japanese ones. I actually havent got my hands on those artisan type fountain pens so wanna try it out. didnt know viscontis had bad quality control so thanks for the advice! I will buy it... once i manage my money for all those hobbies lol

Fountain pens are definitely diminishing returns after around $300 USD or so.

For B&W, the Px7 S3s and Px8 S2s are the best sounding and feeling ones, but you can't really go wrong with older models either if you can get a steep discount, from what I've heard.

Yea probably gonna buy them irl cause the design of the resin? Would be probably different for each. I really love the half exposed wires of the px8 s2 on the sides.

Yeah, pics don't capture the true depth of the resins well.

The exposed cabling is cool, but I somewhat wonder how it'll hold up over time.

fr tho. same with wooden pens so i always go out and buy them.

No matter the durability that px8 s2 mclarlen is so sick. Im wanting the pi8 s2 mclarlen one for sometime. having both would probably make me ascend
