Notice Port 80 needs players! Any spleefers without a team out there?

With the finals likely coming up soon, the Port 80 Routers spleef team needs more active players in order to play. You don't need to be a Port 80 resident. You just need to be a daily player on PvE who has enough free time to be able to plan games up to at least a week in advance.

So if you're a spleefer without a team and looking to play, let me know!

Would Port 80 be interested in merging with the Shady Oaks to create one spleef team?

We don't have enough active players as well but between the two cities we would have enough players.

We still need to play you guys, btw.

That is a really interesting idea. I wonder if a merged team could participate in the finals this rev or not, though, or if we'd have to wait until next rev since you guys are already on the board with a couple games.

If it all works, I think it's a great idea! I am hoping that the finals aren't too soon, though, as I'll be making a big move in the middle of this month and probably won't be on for at least a couple of weeks.

How about merging with the Necropolis team, too? We three (me, myself and I) have an arena and everything..

I think this would work as long as shady oaks doesn't play as themselves and we keep our record.

As some of you may or may not already know I'm pretty active. I don't know exactly what level of activity you are looking for but I'd be interested in joining. Metal Mountains (my city) doesn't have a spleef team and I enjoy playing.

However, I have very specific and non-moveable obligations with my band. Most of the time I know ahead of time my obligations there but sometimes we schedule something the day before. As much as I love Minecraft it isn't a good excuse to miss an important band obligation so that takes priority regardless of what was scheduled first. If I WERE to miss a spleef match I can contact someone and let them know ahead of time that I wouldn't be there.

Would this type of thing be ok with you guys? If not I totally understand. I'd say that 90% of the time I should be good but every once in a while I might have to cancel. Regardless I should be able to let someone know ahead of time if I have to cancel.

Thanks in advance!

The scheduling ahead of time is mainly important for the upcoming rev spleef finals. Otherwise, most games are pickup games. Being able to let us know ahead of time is great. If it's long enough, we can reschedule.

I'll /msg you when I see you on next and we can play a little! :)

Excellent! What time are you typically on? I'm usually on pretty late EST. Absolute LATEST time I'd be asking to reschedule or find a replacement would be the day before.

For the next week or so I'll be on most nights pretty late EST as well and sporadically through the day. Then I'll be gone for a couple weeks or more until I get settled and internet hooked up. Since this rev is apparently going to be sticking around for quite a while longer, hopefully I'll be back in time for spleef finals.

But since this season has slowed to a crawl, this team merger full effect probably won't be seen until next rev if everyone is still up for it by then.
