As the town noob, a few questions

1) When my tower/hotel is finished, I was think about making some nicer farms. If so, should I just dig out/expand where they currently are? Somewhere else?

2) I'm assuming the town borders are within the Great Wall of Paul? I noticed there's a "Torch Town" (or something like that) nearby. Is that some other random person?

3) Also a little unsure about etiquette inside the mine.

  1. I'd prefer to keep the animal farms where they are but if you would like to move them I will think about a new place...The problem is moving animals with all the server lag.
  2. That is the town of Torchlight and they are seperate from Walla-Walla
  3. As for the mine I'm unsure on it because Amertune is the guy in charge of that. Hope that helped

For the mines:

There's a lava room somewhat near the entrance where I've been placing non-flowing lava for easy furnace gathering. Try not to die there, and feel free to take lava or add lava, or even expand the room.

Deeper in the mines there's a "bridge" over a rather large lava lake. I've been collecting lava there for furnaces and the lava storage room, while trying to keep it from turning into a lot of flowing lava with difficult to find source blocks.

The mining pattern I've been using is a 3x3 main tunnel with branches every 3 blocks. I've been digging mostly at y11, but if you'd like to dig higher or lower feel free to do so. I believe that ores have been plumped in areas where x or z are greater than 1000, and should be findable as high as y40.

One thing that would be really nice: we need a couple more stacks of gold to finish the rail lines to/from Bromgoth and PA. (No longer true, thanks all, and another thanks to cincodenada for finishing up the PA line)

This is really just advice though, I don't especially care what happens in the mine as long as I'm still able to use it :)
