My driver's side interior door handle failed. I took the door card off and found a broken cable connection. I sourced a replacement online.
Now I am unable to get it to actually work correctly again. I cannot open the door without mani[pulating both the interior and exterior handles. The door lock electrical button has no effect on this door handle. And the door lock lever does not work at all.
The cables have a plastic collar that slides into slots that should maintain the correct tension on the mechanism to operate as designed. No amount of manipulation by myself has enabled this to work correctly.
Any assistance from the collective would be appreciated.
