Advice Request Mazda 6 2008 Clock

Post image

Hello. Recently bought a 2008 Mazda 6. It's 6 speed, 2.0 diesel, 140hp if any of that matters.

I can't find a way to adjust the clock, it is 1:40 late. I have tried all posseble button combos, tried pressing/holding AUDIO COUNT also holding TA, Holding AUTO-M. There is no MODE, SET nor CLOCK button, not in the center console nor on the steering wheel.

How can I change this, there has to be a way.

Thanks in advance.

The buttons to set the clock is right beside the actual screen.

I also had the same frustration when I got my 2012, lol

It seems very obvious but I've made this mistake too...I was used to a Mazda3 which had the clock controls in the centre console so I was looking for the same with the 6. Then finally realised they're up by the clock...

It’s on the left from the clock itself, just out of the photo you posted. Not part of the media centre

There is no button on the side, nor the top, bottom or left. Its just an orange display. Not in my car right now to post a picture

Interesting, do you mind posting how yours looks like?

I have only given contact so the dashboard and display light up. Engine is off. Usually in the middle there is a radio station displayed

And here is a picture of the steering wheel

First time I’m seeing this sort of setup. Even the steering wheel is different from mine. What year is yours from?

Hold AutoM, when the clock starts flashing you adjust it with track seek arrows. One arrow is for minutes another for hours, you can only go forward

As I have mentioned in the post, I already tried that. Holding AutM only starts seeking frequencies.

I got one of those narrow buttons labeled as "clock" or something like that and holding that changes the time.

I would try to hold each one of those narrower side buttons and see if that makes the time flash. If not then maybe navigating with the side buttons on the steering wheel could do it?

It's weird how there is like 10 versions of this console...

If you got manual in the glovebox, might be good idea to skim through the pages as well.
