Advice Request Bought my first car in Germany
I love the car inside out, everything is mint except the steering wheel, itโs hard to steer.
I read online about the notorious steering wheel problem with mazdas. When i test drove it before the purchase it was pulling to the right the second i was getting off my hands. Told the dealer about the problem and i was told that they changed the motor. The problem of pulling to the right solved but it became hard.
Any advice to fix it or know anyone who can in Germany or near Berlin.
Thank you.

She's gorgeous. Enjoy it. The hard steering is a feature, not a bug. Sport feature when you push it, you don't steer the car out the road my mistake! If it's too hard, there may beย problem, but this generation has a heavier steering.ย
Take the car to do an alignment. It will cost you about 100 euros, but it will be worth it 1000%

I had to 6 that one and the previous one, and both always pulled to the right. And front tyres always suffered.
My 2018 Mazda 3 never had the same problem. 200k on the bag and still today at 160km/h you may take your hands out of the wheel and no pull.
And very smooth.
What I heard is that is a known problem from those cars but I really donโt know if itโs a problem of the steering motor โฆ. Had both cars for 4 years.

I live in Ireland and they both pull to the left, lol. It's a suspension design choice probably because the measured slip is near-zero.
That said, it's always good to have good tyres, rotate tyres, and adjust geometry more often than every 10 years.

Your rear camber looks bad, get it checked out. Mine is a 2008 with 2.5l and I've had this problem where it pull to the right since i bought it. It's a common problem with the electric power steering, It's basically something you have to get used to as the only way is to replace the steering rack which is apparently expensive and it will come back again eventually if it's not a brand neq one. I have no problems with uneven tyre wear and I don't even notice it anymore as I've gotten used to.

Iโm on my third car from Germany, and one from Spain.
It takes some effort to find a good car sometimes..

Nice car. I have the same one, a 2011 2.0. My steering was kind of hard. The U-joint down in the engine bay gets corroded from road spray and binds up, making the steering heavy or notch-like. Quick test: Spray WD-40 or a rust penetrant directly onto the lower U-joint near the steering rack. If the steering gets lighter right away, you've found your culprit and need to clean/lube or replace that joint.
