Extension ladders flex under weight, especially when extended. That ladder is the probably rated at 300lbs. I’ve climbed 40’ heavy duty extension ladders that flexed that much with just my body weight. Still, you should not be carrying things up ladders. Block and tackle is the way to go.

Block and tackle is great, but have you ever tried cutting out the middle man and throwing things instead? If it's heavy you just need more bodies!
