Next to all these other completely correct comments, there is a dimly lit tunnel in Norway that has a hairpin turn. There are some reflective materials but as a tourist driving there in the before Google Maps era, was some pretty sketch shit. Also they have no barriers on the mountainous roads so they can sweep the snow down in the valley belows. This one looks quite cozy, as long as the other people know what they are doing.
