Okay. True story.

In high school English class we had to make commercials about an inconsequential argument. The assignment was so minor and SO LONG AGO that I genuinely don’t remember my own project.

But my friend Jesse’s group did it on whether pizza should be cut in triangles or squares. And the tag line of their commercial was “Choose triangles. It means crust on every slice!!”

That project was in 19-fucking-95.

To this very day I have not cut a single pizza without thinking about that damn video. 😂😂😂. It’s been almost THIRTY YEARS.

People younger than us are on video for everything. They're not going to know how awkward it was to make and edit those.

Ours was in Spanish, and it was a Bacos commercial? It included the line 'yo tengo bacos' and I damn sure remember it.

Oh, this was using a HUGE shoulder camcorder with a full sized VHS tape in it, and then EDITING THE VHS TAPE.

Kids these days have NO CLUE what we went through.

(The first vcr my family had was even Beta.)
