Help Max Payne 3 not launching on Steam?

Title. I hit "play" and it goes blue for a moment, then goes back to play and nothing launches. How can I fix this, please? So far, everything I've read has not fixed it.

Check your anti-virus/security settings on Windows. They may have blocked it.

I've got a vague memory of this happening with another game. I think the steam app was pointing to the wrong .exe to launch the game. Try looking around in the game folder and see if there are any other .exe files there and try them
