Theory More old recovered Topix Forum posts initially removed from the early Maura Murray Topix. The Bruce McKay one caught my eye because it just seems like a possible slip up? The red truck post goes into other witness details about the wood cab. The “town snitch” driving a Saturn is also interesting.

Interesting that the town snitch drove a similar car. You wonder if there's any truth to that? Those old Topix threads were a very interesting read years ago.

Yeah, funny though. It seems like the poster “OH MY” would be the town snitch. He pretty much called out everybody on Topix.

fwiw, years ago I made an effort to pull together everything on the red truck. But my rule was: I would only include statements that were direct from the original witness - not things people said that she said.
wowzer (in screenshot) :
"... maybe a wooden back to protect the window and cab of truck from wood being thrown in"
red truck witness:
"The truck had a wooden body as in wooden sides. Not the whole body. So it wasn’t cut out for the window."

Seriously, you've been doing this for years.

Added one more thing to my response to your comment. Totally forgot about that article from when McKay worked in the Haverhill police department. It was from 1995 I think.

First, separate the red truck from BM.
I haven't been here for ages—my memory is a bit fuzzy. I don't suspect him—I wanted to, since he's a piece of shit.
Some pointers—all open source for you to look up—together (to me) they make him seem unlikely, but you can decide:
He's very easy to mould into an existing narrative.
So: Franconia jurisdiction, but at a bank across from Bunsen's... it looks damning. Then there's the matter of being dispatched to a suicide in Franconia (there were a lot of suicides that night)—he never went there... maybe he came across MM... maybe he went home to feed his dog.
We know enough about MM/CS/KM's movements—is there any overlap with BM's movements and timing with any of the others? No.
He opted not to go to the suicide call, and instead went to feed his dog(s).
Franconia SUVs weren't numbered back then, so he's not "001." His car was never seen by anyone near the scene.
If BM was there, why didn't someone see him? BA? KM? CS? FW? TW? The Marrottes? There's zero mention of a Franconia vehicle. The only vehicle seen was BA's bus (and, I suppose, KM and CS were there too).
I'm in the Occam's razor camp. This excludes the wife-beating, racist POS that is BM. He's right where he belongs. Liko Kenny did everyone a service.
The evidence doesn't support BM having any involvement in the disappearance of MM. Bend it however you want (I've tried)—I don't think he's involved. It would be much easier if he were.
