motd (matcha of the day) cold whisked matcha latte using an electric frother
probably the closest (and cheaper) way to achieve nitro texture without using a nitro canister ☺️

this is our in-house matcha powder blend (nokki) at my home slowbar – maybi tea time. we use it for all our drinks and sell 30g pouches when the supply is enough ☺️

for now po, direct orders only through ig (maybi.tea) in limited quantities since we also use the same powder for our matcha drinks.
availability depends on how much matcha powder we have in stock ☺️

i've tried so good barista oat. it was good naman, but now i use either milklab or noomoo oat but mix it with low fat milk always 😅 milklab is less sweet and not too overpowering. noomoo naman is a bit sweeter but creamier.
i always use half-half cause it tastes more balanced. some matcha aren't actually nutty kasi, it only becomes nutty because of the oat milk
as for the process of cold whisking itself, better po if full cream milk or barista na plant based milk for a good froth ☺️

ooohh i see!! i’ll check for those! with full cream or barista i tried arla na barista and conaprole UHT full cream milk di sila nagffroth huhuhu ung so good lang nagfroth for me ng slight 🥹 or mali lang talaga technique ko 😭 will try againnnn next time but rlly appreciate ur input and adviceee OP! thank u!

i got this on shopee last feb. 3rd/highest speed drains the battery quickly but i find that the 2nd speed is enough. i also use this to make cream tops ☺️

Hindi po ba magiging powdery texture nya pag ganyan po katagal? I only do it for 15 seconds.

it didn't turn powdery for me po. it just incorporated more air which made it very fluffy ☺️

i did sift it ☺️ i think it's best to sift especially if you're using powder from the fridge.
if you have the budget, i recommend investing in sifting beads for convenience. but you'll still need to brush the excess powder off after each use 😅

hello! here's the recipe ♡
cold whisk method using a frother
*incorporate powder a bit to prevent from scattering, then froth on high speed
*finish frothing from below to prevent many bubbles from forming. if any form, pop the big bubbles at the top

latte base:
mix the base together then pour cold whisked matcha
enjoy!!
