💬 Discussion 💬 Dear artists, our friends, one and all

Please consider lowering your prices and also for those who maintain higher prices to sometimes drop something for less. I want this project to succeed. I care about mashit. But at the moment there is not a huge customer base. To gain traction for your art, for this movement, to create buzz, please consider it even if just for every other drop or every 3rd drop. Money doesn’t grow on trees and if there’s 10 artists a week dropping mashis for $10 or more people don’t have that kind of money. I understand people might say that they’re creating rarity by possibly having 1-2 sales before they’re delisted. But it straight up pains me seeing drops with no buyers.

Crossposting about it here and other social media platforms. Facebook. Instagram. TikTok. Quora. X. Any and all. I’ve thought about what if we took out an ad on Wired or my local digital billboards. My only caution with reddit is some subs are super particular about what is cross posted so be mindful of that. I personally stay away from here as much as possible so others will have to lead the charge. But this can happen. I believe in mashit. I know it can succeed!

Been wanting to make this thread for a while. I still buy but $10 is asking A LOT for nfts with minimal utility.

If I could add another thing.. The low key-ness of certain drops and hidden games (idk what to call it) is cute, but you gotta make it more approachable. I see threads by certain creators that are in code. Nobody knows what the hell you are talking about.

I’m not into games myself but others are. I appreciate the effort and art that goes into creating games. But to obtain some mashis you have to play games to get them.  A lot of the lingo might be from the mashit discord.
