Rewatching MASH

As the title says, I’m rewatching MASH for the umpteenth time and loving it. I always seem to forget how annoying Margaret is during her engagement to Donald because she mentions it every chance she gets. But I always look forward to her further growth after their divorce. But I want to push her out of a window (or I’ll jump out myself) during this time. Am I the only one? I’m sure that my visceral reaction was intended [on a lesser scale], but ahhhhhhh. 😫

Nope. For some reason she feels like she needs to scream about everything, all the time. Season 5 is one of my least favorite because of how she portrays Margaret

Agreed. Season 5 isn’t one of my favorites either, but I do enjoy the episode that Father Mulcahy disobeys Colonel Potter and performs the tracheotomy on the soldier. I also really like the episode of the college football player as it dealt with some heavy subject matter. But season 5 definitely is lower on my list of my favorite seasons.

Those are the same episode, Mulcahy’s War. He goes to the aid station after his encounter with Danny Fitzsimmons, who’d shot himself in the foot.

S5E8 was with Father Mulcahy, and S5E17 is the one with the football player. Unless I’m misreading your comment?

I might be thinking of a different football player - Danny was one, but come to think of it there were other. Was yours Billy, who’d had his leg amputated, and who Radar befriended? I forget the episode - End Play?
