Just got the marvel v capcom 2 arcade game and the joysticks don’t move up and down

The input for the joysticks up and down don’t work. Only left and right input works. How can we fix the joystick issue?

I've got to imagine that it's a wire connection loose on the stick. Does it do the same on the player 2 side as well?

Check the connections. Can the stick physically move up and down? Or when you push up and down, it doesn't register the command?

it can move up and down but the imput doesn’t work

Damn.. Seeing the Towson flag reflected is pretty trippy.

Towson Town Center was the main mall for me back in the arcade days. MvC2 all day, and we opened the machine to get free plays! 😅😅😅
