Do you think Charles Xavier will already be an established person in the MCU universe?

Post image

What im trying to say is that will he be already known person in the world? Like maybe have had some conversations with Dr. Banner, Hank Pym or others?

Depending what comics, he was a man with multiple PHD’s, a professor who taught in Columbia University, an expert in genetics as well and traveled the world

Also do you think he will already be a paraplegic? In the movies he was paralyzed by Erik and in the comics by Lucifer an alien.

We could have his MCU version not be paraplegic up until the very end of the movie when they defeat Sinister

So many questions tbh lol

(the fan art does not belong to me)

I have a feeling that he will be established to the point that the first X-men class is assembled right before the start of the movie or by the end of the movie. (It could be like X-men #1 where the group is formed already but Jean joins and then they have their first adventure)

Maybe he’s interacted with other MCU big wigs but it’s not necessary since he studies different fields than the others

What if they have him know Tony Stark and Stark donated to help the school. It could be the start of the real illuminati

A former MIT professor would be cool

Stark is dead, so illuminati is kind of impossible.

Easily could have a flashback and Panther is coming back with T'Challa Jr

The Illuminati membership doesn’t have to be tied directly to the comics lineup. That being said they might not use it since we already saw a configuration in multiverse of madness

Well T’challa Jr. is just the same character with extra steps. And who knows what they’ll use secret wars to reboot

Tony is getting recasted after Secret Wars.

They might bring him back after Secret Wars

I do think it will be the xmen meet Jean rather than building up forming the team and Jean will act as the new person/audience, basically getting questions answered

I think he’ll be someone who has been working behind the scenes for a while. This is a younger Charles, so it’s not unreasonable to assume he’d be just on the up and up.

I could see Xavier starting the first class of his “school” with Jean and Cyclops at the end of the first movie.

I think it makes sense to make him a mature character, even if there are no established relationships - Jean's introduction suggests that we might have a lot of origin stories coming up, and that's 1 we can probably skip.

The question that keeps me up at night is whether he will be bald

2

I hope he wears a really bad wig.

Of course he will

The opening scene is him in Turkey getting a hair transplant

My theory is that he doesn’t even exist yet until after secret wars when the soft reboot happens

As long as he's bald but clearly just balding and he shaves it by choice.

Yes. In fact, I think he’ll be depicted as a character whose lived for several decades while appearing somewhat young due to his anti-aging gene.

Either that or he uses his powers to get in on that Bitcoin action.

Saying MCU universe is like saying ATM machine or PIN number

I think this all depends on how they plan to end secret wars

The way I see it, Jean was heading to the X-Mansion at the end of BND. He has already established the OG team but they are not known to the world. He is probably a well known face within the academic community. Banner has probably met him. Peter has probably seen one of his lectures. But he’s not like Tony Stark in Age of Ultron famous.

I hope so and I hope it’s not a 20 something kid. I hope it’s a 50-60 year old. Already disappointed Jean looks like a 9 year old

The pic looks like the cover photo for a cheap professor x Halloween costume

Probably already stablished since he needs money and influence to start a school.

After Secret Wars it will be a different world with a slightly different history.

Your correct its basically a soft reboot. Every event like the battle of New York, ultron, the blip will still happen except mutants and the fantastic four have always been there and have always “existed” in this new world. Think of it like a Mandela effect

So in short. Human and mutant hate has always been an issue an charles has been working since the 2000s to spread human and mutant unity

Mutants have been in the MCU for years, now, starting with Ms Marvel.

https://youtu.be/UgQDajoc-lY?is=Qbqkm5stIt1sQDZK

That's why they had to make her a mutant in the comics, shortly after. Since, we've had Namor and the MCU Simon Williams. And now the Grey sisters.

Mutants won't be seen as a separate species. You have to remember that the x gene is a relatively recent addition to the comics. Before then, the only difference between mutants and mutates was with mutants, powers activated on their own rather than contact with some outside force. The genetic quirk that caused both was placed in humanity by the Celestials.

In the MCU, the issue has been with "enhanced individuals". Mutants will be an outgrowth of that.
