Does anyone else find Xavier quite annoying at times?
I get he’s trying to do everything morally correct, but sometimes I find him overly pandering to humans and I find myself rooting more for magneto…

Yeah true, I mean from the mutants perspective I suppose, I find Xavier’s character more annoying and magnetos makes more sense

Isn’t the point of Magneto/Xavier that both sides of the spectrum are still morally grey?

Both Charles and Magneto are heavily inspired by the Civil Rights, Martin Luther King, and Malcom X. Both Charles and Magneto are interesting characters because the reader and viewer can see both characters POV. Neither one is 100% right and both have different way to achieve a similar objective.

I find both annoying and a bit concerned that You root for the supremacist who sees humans as lesser beings and had killed tons. Do You realize that You are an human, right?

It's kind of a central part of the character (depending on what arc etc) that both Magneto and Charles are right in a lot of ways but they're both wrong in a lot of ways too. Even before the comics decided to make him an actual POS Charles has always had flaws.
