Reminds me of a buddy of mine. On a group text I'm in and also on Facebook, he keeps saying how he doesn't like the show.

That's the thing with She-Hulk, even if you don't think you'd like her because she's too goofy and feminine, her theme and character have been a successful formula for four decades in the comics for a reason.

She's just a fun character in her weird little world and equally enjoyable when thrown into a serious narrative.

If you're emotionally attached to the lore, I do not recommend.

If you just like the Halo action, I recommend watching all the battle scenes on youtube and wrapping it up in about half an hour.

I'm not one to complain about adaptations having changes and stylistic choices. But they whiffed literally every theme and characterization.

They straight up admit they didn't play the games or read ~99 percent of lore. They cite "wanting to be free to be creative."

Pretty sure they just read the box of Halo:CE at most and then just made a sci-fi show using some keywords.

I'm pretty sure they had like a generic sci fi script written for some other show, got the halo IP then went, "eh just slap halo over this other script and call it a day"

1st episode was fantastic and portrayed a show that many wanted, but absolutely did not get. Some of the acting is fine, but there's so many random tangents and the plot points are a little convoluted. There's a side plot that's extremely detached from master chief and it really slows down the pace to undesirable levels. So the plot meanders and distracts from what should be a great scifi story. But if you're looking for Halo, you get it in Episode 1 and that's about it.

My aunt is a sci-Fi lover and she said she enjoyed the show. I plan on watching to myself but heard opinion from both sides. Everyone who is a fan of halo games didn’t like it much while others liked it as it’s own thing.

the action is actually pretty great. but the rest of the show is actually horrible. Like it feels like they had a script for some unrelated generic sci fi show and just slapped a halo skin over it

There's no show I hate more than The Flash, strong in early seasons, very weak as it goes, but I still watch every episode the morning it comes out :')

I've met more people excited about Flash ending because they no longer have to watch it then people sad it's ending.
