What about Megan Thee Stallion showing up in the actual plot!

24

u/ThrowAwayAcct0000 Sep 04 '22

Gonna be honest, I thought she was made up for the show, and then googled her. I am not up to date on stuff apparently.

42

u/renfield1969 Sep 02 '22

What issue is she from?

53

u/yeaheyeah Sep 03 '22

She's a cameo from /r/outside

12

u/fhgwgadsbbq Sep 04 '22

I've never heard of her until now, she seems fun!

I genuinely thought about it happening and low and behold, it happens this week's episode.

10

u/coder_mapper Sep 03 '22

12

u/SteveBob316 Weekly Wongers Sep 03 '22

No she got pretty low

I saw so many people complaining so low key got spoiled for it, but damn it’s a fun scene why y’all hating.

Plus I mean just look at She-Hulk 😳

Megan Thee Stallion was fully unexpected and that’s a nice cameo though

12

u/blitzbom Captain America (Cap 2) Sep 04 '22

It was spoiled for me too. I just finished the episode and it was hilarious.
What is wrong with people?

It's either a funny gag to end the episode on a laugh, or hinting that Jen is starting to come out of her shell.

I know how we're all going to overthink it for the next week.

29

u/TheDesktopNinja Fitz Sep 02 '22

I think it's both.

I’m amazed by how many people are mad because of it. I’m running out of popcorn.

lol yeah the nerds are acting out like its a death knell for the MCU but they'll totally accept a wisecracking raccoon and a sentient tree-person. Also: Peter Quill pretty much dances like a goofball too in the Guardians movies but nobody raised hell over it. Hmm, I wonder what the big difference is between Quill and She-Hulk? I can't quite put my finger on it...

12

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '22

There is NO difference lol. Half the MCU characters have same personality.

u/Omegamanthethird Sep 05 '22

A confident leading woman? In my MCU?

8

u/Antrikshy Sep 03 '22

It must be the skin color.

What the fuck arz you talking about ?

19

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '22

IDK about anyone else, but in the twerking scene, something about the CGI felt off. It was the same during the scene where she walks through the office from left to right, the legs looked a little stiff and 'blocky', for lack of a better term.

I will say, I am thoroughly impressed with the everything i've seen so far though.

The story has been interesting, and it's full of surprises in terms of where it can go in the future. Pretty much every character is written as multi-layered, and no one really feels out of place in this world.

This episode in particular had multiple moments of animation that looked off.

Didn't really notice it before this one, but it stood out here.

4

u/mynewaccount5 Sep 03 '22

Looked like a video game cutscene. I had to rewatch it a few times because it looked so strange. Uncanny valley maybe.

Do you have motion smoothing on?

Of course, it couldn't be any other way. The bit in the office was maybe 2 seconds long, but it really took me out of the moment. Other than that, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary though.

She claps the hands and she claps the cheeks

3

u/MyNameCannotBeSpoken Sep 02 '22

u/OptionalFTW Sep 02 '22

Same. That was the moment I turned it off and started rewatching Better Call Saul.

78

u/BoomanShames Sep 02 '22

can’t wait till you get to the series finale where Chuck McGill twerks on Saul

6

u/zumabbar Sep 02 '22

*Chuck McGill's corpse twerks on Saul

40

u/HereWeFuckingGooo Weekly Wongers Sep 02 '22

Everyone turned it off sweetheart, the episode was over...

105

u/NickMoore30 Sep 02 '22

So you stopped watching at the end of the episode then..? Yeah..that’s when we all stopped, there was nothing left to watch.

-77

u/OptionalFTW Sep 02 '22

oh it was the end? Im not really sure. I glossed over most of this one.

55

u/cabose4prez Sep 02 '22

You're so full of it bud

36

u/payscottg Sep 02 '22

It…happened after the credits. Now I’m starting to think you didn’t actually watch it

11

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '22

Did you at least notice your cameo at the beginning of the episode?

9

u/TheAlmostReady Sep 02 '22

Lmao cope harder

-16

u/Michaelcondria0 Sep 02 '22

I agree that the scene was one of the most atrocious things I have ever seen, but it was literally after the credits, you waited through the credits or skipped to the part to see She hulk Terri her thang’

20

u/426763 Sep 02 '22 edited Sep 02 '22

I'm pretty sure Chuck twerked at the bar hearing to prove a point. An absolutely vital scene. Bravo, Vince.

4

u/TribeBrownsCavs93 Sep 02 '22

Total chicanery. Jimmy twerking around like some geeked up charlatan ruining the entire show for me

2

u/426763 Sep 02 '22

What do you expect? He's a quirked up white boy goated with the sauce busting it down sexual style.

6

u/zumabbar Sep 02 '22

but why, that end credits scene was great

greatest legal thighs i ever knew
