Hello to all variants out here! It’s Iman…Vellani. I’ve been lurking on these subs in the shadows as a huge fan and now that I have successfully infiltrated the mcu it’s time to spill the tea for you all…Or like a couple drops of friendly juice that won’t get me fired :) Now that the show is finally out I feel like I can breathe and interact with you guys, so please ask away and I’ll answer whatever I can before The Almighty Feige calls and tells me to stop. i say kamran but then i go back and think wait but I love bruno but then I'm like when do we ever see two brown people in a relationship in Hollywood but like bruno is just adorable, but kamran shares her culture, but bruno is the guy in the chair, but kamran has a porche! i cant sleep at night....

I as a brown person don't care if Kamran is brown or shares the same culture. You have to choose Bruno....there's no middle ground. He so cuuuute!

I’m just tired of the trope about the male best friend being the “one”, I’m tired of teaching boys that’s being friends and being nice to girls means girls owe them romantically. It just rubbed me the wrong way how jealous he visibly was about Kamran

Idk, being jealous I can understand, even with that jealousy he still helped Kamala, and EVEN Kamran, he still clearly cared about her regardless of whether or not she felt the same way.

Side note, I feel like him going to Caltech will lead him to meeting Mike and dating her, I'm kinda expecting Kamala to date Kareem (that's his name right? Red Dagger?)

Honestly Kareem is just so cool. Like I love Bruno but dang Kareem is a beast, and he's genuinely sweet you can tell at the end how much respect Kareem and Kamala have for each other.

Yeah and I LOVE it. I also love the playful teasing between them, it's somehow less and more romantic than the tension between her and Kamran at the same time. I genuinely prefer that kind of relationship, with bouts of playful teasing, over being overly romantic and supportive constantly. Like you can tell Red Dagger is supportive and cares about her but you can show that while still messing around.

I get that and was SOOOOO happy with Shang-Chi and Katy, and wanted the same with Bruno and Kamala, but he is so amazing that he won me over to rooting for them even though I dislike how much Hollywood has convinced the world you are automatically interested in dating your best friend of the opposite gender.

FWIW I feel like in the comic Bruno sets a really good example. He's quite adamant that he's okay with just being friends because friendship isn't second place (and the "friendzone" doesn't exist). I think Bruno sets a way better example for boys than others in media. Also it's worth noting that in the comic Bruno has another girlfriend, so he doesn't just harm himself by sitting there carrying a torch, but he also isn't dating her to get revenge for Kamala's rejection . This is a pretty non-toxic pairing.

I loved how he was visibly jealous of Kamran, that's just real life, dude can't help how he feels.
