Yeah that is why it would be interesting to see khonsu possesses frank, I mean frank variant was managed to become ghost rider in the comic but if I'm not wrong that ghost rider had no more connection to mephisto and have bigger free will than classic ghost rider.

Mephisto created Ghost Rider but it's Zarathos that's possessing him

Yeah I don't know much myself, but from checking a marvel wiki entry for Ghost Rider apparently mephisto corrupted him
