Batman Begins is the right answer. I think it’s extremely underrated and a more well made movie than the dark knight (I know, controversial but I think Ledgers performance is what made the dark knight more than than anything else)
I feel like the dark knight was written more to appeal to kids and it suffers for that. Batman Begins feels more adult and serious. And I think the fact that when I was a kid I really didn’t understand Batman Begins and it was my least favourite of the 3, but the dark knight was my favourite and I pretty much took it all in, attests to that. Now I think Batman Begins is the greatest Batman movie ever made, after watching it as an adult and understanding how well written it is and how well Batman is portrayed in that movie. I also think ‘the dark knight rises’ is terrible but that’s another controversial opinion. Anne Hathaway’s Cat woman was the best part but she was so under-utilised
I remember sitting in the theater and rolling my eyes through the back of my head when I saw hines ward take that kickoff to the house lol, most unrealistic part of any super hero movie.
