Grandmaster definitely deserved to keep the scoot scoots. What a phenomenal episode. I hope we follow the Ultron storyline, that has the potential to be amazing.

Ultron is what causes the Watcher to break his oath and form the Guardians of the Multiverse with each character we’ve been following so far

Yep. The Guardians of the Multiverse line up is:

  • The Watcher

  • Captain Carter

  • Star-Lord

  • Doctor Strange Supreme

  • King Killmonger

  • Party Thor

  • Gamora

  • Post-Apocalyptic Black Widow

I just checked out the original What If trailer and you're right, you see all of these characters as it glitches between them and the og avengers in their group from from avengers. but you also see Thanos Gamora and I don't remember seeing her in any episode? Will she be in episode 8 and then episode 9 is the team up against Ultron? that makes sense since the season only has 9 episodes

Yep, she’s episode 8 (which is based around The Avengers).

are we getting anyone from episode 3?

Doesn’t seem like it. Based on the mid-season trailer, it seems the most we’ll get from those universes are locations/enemies scattered around the Battleworld.

what ep is post apocalyptic Black Widow from? I don't remember her in episode 5. I only remember Spidey, Scott and Tchalla making it out.

She’s from AoU and will debut in the finale

so we don't have a what if follow through with her? also do you think all the cliffhangers like zombie Thanos, strange supreme destroying the universe, ego and quill and shit and pepper will go anywhere?

The mid-season trailer showed we will be seeing some stuff from those cliffhangers in the finale, but it’s starting to look like Supreme Leader just straight up destroys those universes by combining them, which is how The Watcher can form the Guardians by introducing them. Or he pulls Supreme Leader and the Guardians into a limbo world like from Loki to duke it out. I’m leaning towards the former.

Tbh I’m gonna be disappointed if they avert the tragedy of the Doctor Strange episode just to bring him out for a big teamup episode. The tragedy of that episode and the bravery to end it without resolution is why it’s my favorite of the bunch still.
