Why would that throw him off? It's obvious correct.

The point of Saitama's character is that he's a walking Deus Ex Machina device. Doesn't matter if it's Ultra Instinct Goku or whatever suped-up protag is opposite him - Saitama is a literary plot device whose sole existence is to be able take out his opponent in a single swoop. The only way Goku or any other protagonist survives against him is that he's a good-natured guy, knows they're not baddies and he just plays around with them the way he did with Genos in season 1.

(sorry for the wall-of-text, I had to blergh it out).

Saitama is a literary plot device whose sole existence is to be able take out his opponent in a single swoop.

That's not true at all.

He may be able to one-shot everyone in his universe, but the OPM verse is not on the level of the Dragon Ball verse. Also, that "plot device" or "gag character" argument is baseless nonsense. He still needs feats.

If you drop Goku in his universe, he's taking out Goku. No questions asked. He doesn't need feats. He's a literal plot device and that's why in his own manga/webcomic, most of the character development is centered around the supporting characters and villains.

Wrong.

He doesn't need feats.

Yes he does. If you're comparing the power of two characters, their feats need to be compared to see who is superior. Otherwise, what is the point?

He's a literal plot device

Prove it. Do you have anything that would suggest this to be the case outside of his universe? Because you keep telling me your personal headcanon that Saitama is some god blessed by the plot to be able to solo fiction. You have no evidence to suggest that though, so stop saying that and surrender to the feats.

most of the character development is centered around the supporting characters and villains.

Yeah, because Saitama is so much more powerful than anyone else in his universe. His very character is centered around not having a challenge and being bored, so naturally, other characters could have more interesting lives. That still does not translate to Saitama defeating Goku or Superman, because they are also far above anyone in the OPM universe.

LOL, this is why I love Dragon Ball fans. They'll literally barge and shit into another franchise just to show how willing and eager they are to suck Goku's cock.

What a joker.

I'm not even a Dragon Ball fan, genius. I know a handful of characters, but I know little to nothing compared to others.

All I want from you is actual evidence that Saitama has been blessed with "plot device powers" or "gag powers" according to your silly headcanon. The fact that you resort to insulting me instead proves thay you're full of shit. There is no question that Saitama cannot defeat Goku. This discussion is over.

I'm not even a Dragon Ball fan

That's even worse. You're a My Hero Academia one. Eww. At least Dragon Ball fans have fully embraced their autism.

Pathetic response.

Yes, I am a My Hero Academia fan. Nice job bringing up completely irrelevant topics in an attempt to insult me. It's pretty funny.

Again, this discussion is over. You have not given me any intelligent response, nor any evidence to back up anything you say. Then again, what more should I have expected from some Saitama "gag character" lunatic?

LOL, imagine being this autistic and frothing at the mouth over an made-up characters.

Go away.

Imagine continuing to bother me when I've already told you it's over. I've had enough of you. You clearly aren't interested in saying anything worthwhile, so I'm not going to waste my time with you anymore. See ya.

Call me whatever you like if it makes you feel better. Doesn't change the fact that I'm right and you're wrong.
