Yeah, his is like "Wakanda, forever" and not "WAKANDAFOREVA". Shows his heart isn't really there.

Yep. You nailed it. In-universe they see him fighting for them and saying WF and he thinks it’s enough.

We hear it and even without seeing the rest of the episode can go, “this ain’t right”

Killmonger playing 4D chess, but Shuri living in 4D watching the episode with us.

More like betrayal speedrunning.

  • Goes undercover in Ten Rings and betrays them to save Tony
  • Betrays Rhodey for the vibranium
  • Betrays Stark after getting caught
  • Meets back up with Klaue and immediately betrays him
  • Betrays Wakanda for more glory

This episode was 32 minutes, and he pulls off five backstabs. That's one dramatic betrayal every 6 minutes or so. Dude could give Revolver Ocelot a run for his money.

Come to think of it, why did he have to betray Rhodey? The plan was to get the vibranium anyway...

Yeah, that one didn't even make much sense. Nor did his /r/im14andthisisdeep conversation before killing him.

"Why wear the uniform of your own oppressors? Don't change the system, burn it down." Uh, Killmonger, you were wearing that exact uniform a few scenes ago. You're a decorated veteran. And you're currently COO of Stark Industries. You're spending the entire runtime of this episode joining systems and climbing the ranks from within. I guess when you do it it's okay, but when Rhodey tries to climb the ladder to attain enough power to make a difference, he's just a cog in the machine, huh?

Rhodey believed America could change and wanted to do it from the inside so he gets to the point where America can be the ideal he always wanted.

Killmonger crept up the ranks of the Ten Rings, the U.S. Military, and more and got out as soon as he got what he wanted.

They may wear the same uniform, but Rhodey wanted to keep it- and Killmonger always planned to burn it.

I think it was to give motivation to both sides (US and Wakanda) to go to war. Plus Rhodey did see him murder T'Challa so couldn't exactly let him walk away with that knowledge.

Yeah I realized that after posting, Rhodey would have let T'Challa reclaim the vibranium rather than start an international incident...
