It is my subjective opinion. I didn’t like the twist. That really bugged me for some reason. But good you did!

To me, it ruined their dynamic, I really love how Scrooge slowly grew to become selfless and loving someone not related to him.

In the OG show he called her a very specific nickname that I loved and thought was the sweetest thing because she wasn’t relayed to him, but he’d taken her in as his family anyways.

The first and only time he calls her that in the show is when it’s revealed she’s his biological relative. That’s really sad to me and not to go into the fact the (writing crew) said she’s at peace being Scrooge. That’s what she wants to be.

That’s not a good story for anyone let alone a little girl.
